Spirit Hunter: Death Mark -
Hanahiko
A 3D model of Hanahiko, the first boss from the game Spirit Hunter: Death Mark.

Hanahiko was once an ordinary young boy who lived with his mom and loved makeup and skirts. He was adopted by H-Elementary school's Principal after his mother died, but the Principal would abuse him, give him herbal "treatments," and lock him in a secret bunker in the school. The poor boy was trapped in the bunker when the school went up in flames, killing him and turning him into the vengeful plant-based spirit Hanahiko. Like all spirit bosses, he player can choose to wipe away his grudge allowing him to move on, or they can destroy him by making him relive his trauma.

Unique features of this rig is that the model's arms can be set to not follow the body if desired and can be translated and rotated without limits. The vines coming out of Hanahiko's head are dynamic chains that will automatically animate in response to the head's movements, though they do have controls to adjust their positions if desired.

A variety of images I used while modeling Hanahiko. Some are his in-game appearance, some are models of generic children I used to get the proportions correct.
